If I purchase Hogwarts Legacy for Xbox One, Can I play it on a Xbox Series S as well?

I just want to clarify, did you purchase the game Hogwarts Legacy for Xbox One Version or the Xbox Series X|S Version?

To answer your inquiry, the Xbox Series X|S version of Hogwarts Legacy is only playable on Xbox Series X|S.

However, if you have purchased the Hogwarts Legacy: Digital Deluxe Edition, you will be able to play the game on both the Xbox series X/S or Xbox One console.

Sadly, Hogwarts Legacy Xbox Series X|S Version will only work on Xbox Series XIS. You may confirm it on the Store page at https://www.xbox.com/games/store/hogwarts-legac....

That edition of the game contains both Xbox One and Series X/S versions:

The Digital Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy includes Series X/S and original Xbox One versions (Xbox One version to be released in April). It does not exist as a standlone purchase for either platform.
