    Hi Sahil S! I hope you are well, delighted to be able to offer you my help!

    If your account has been successfully migrated to a Microsoft account, you can change your account email address via https://account.microsoft.com/ > Your information > Edit account information.

    Please note that deleting your own email address (Microsoft email address) means deleting the email permanently. You can choose to leave it as one of the aliases and replace only the main alias with a new one.

    nope, email addresses arent released when closed, and if you close your microsoft account you will lose everything attached, all games, cheevos, office, email, gamertag, the lot.
