    I’m sorry but no, the license on PC is different which means that you need to re-purchase it if you would like to play the game on PC.

    Stuck as trial mode, no purchase option.

    U should check if u own Minecraft Xbox one edition check if it has a popup that says

    u have been playing Minecraft Xbox one edition for Certain days u can get this new Minecraft for free

    And once u tap to get Minecraft u will be redirected to the Xbox store Minecraft will be free

    That's how I got Minecraft free
    I don't get anything, I know I've had hundreds of hours in Minecraft xbox one edition. It might have been through another profile owning it on the same console in the past. Regardless it should either say "owned" or "purchase price". But it all it says is
    "get trial".

    I don't want a trial.. or this new free Minecraft.

    Why is this so difficult.. I just want the original xbox one edition minecraft where I can continue my saves and achievement progress.

    Thanks Apollo, I do have satellite Internet and my live account did work at my friends house, so o thought there was something wrong with my xbox. My computer is plugged directly into the Internet, so if I were to get a cable that would connect my computer
    to my xbox, would I then be able to play on live at my own house?

    Minecraft site.

    Q: I own Minecraft: Xbox One Edition on disc. Will I be able to get the Better Together Update for free?

    A: If you own Minecraft: Xbox One Edition on disc and have played for at least 5 hours in the past 12 months or bought DLC, you’ll be able to upgrade to Minecraft for free, until January 30th 2018. If you haven’t played in the past 12 months, you can play
    five hours or purchase DLC before January 30th 2018 to unlock your upgrade.

    If you own the digital downloaded version of the game, then you should still be able to get the updated version for free.
