please help I forgot to download a game and I'm wondering If the game will still transfer and not just download. (I don't to want the message saying u can't play this game.)

Hello. I want to know, if I license transfer my friend's profile to my console, but I forget to download something. Can I just go and just load it from his profile?

Hello,

It's not possible to license transfer specific pieces of content. When you initiate a license transfer all licenses from 1 Xbox 360 go to another Xbox 360. If something happened where it was interrupted, you can simply go to your download history and download
the games and content again.

Go to your Xbox 360 Dashboard > Settings > Account > Download History.

You should still own the game and will just require to download it again. All you may have to do is search for the game in your download history and then re install it from there.

No, you are wrong, otherwise it would be impossible to go to your friends house and download anything there. I repeat, you DO NOT have to license transfer to download what you've already purchased.

go to billing.microsoft.com to check your purchases on0 your gamertag, be 100% sure before you transfer and cant transfer again for 4 months. A license is issued to the original console and to the gamertag that downloaded it; this is why a gmaertag can go
to any other console and download his content there, he owns the license. If it is not in the DL history, chances are the gamertag did not buy it. Your DL history can also be viewed here:
live.xbox.com/.../History

Stop giving advice that will screw him over if it isnt the issue. The only thing a license transfer would enable is the ability to play the download offline on a new console. Period. End of story. Look it up.

When ever you buy a new console its always recommended that you Transfer License content to the new console first because as you do it states that you will need to download all of your content afterwards

So if you HAVE license transfered and have NOT DL the content afterwards then go ahead and try that

IF the DL after you license transfer still does NOT work then contact Cust support in order for them to do some more troubleshooting to get you back up and running

Are you 100% sure you license transferred for this particular DLC? I screwed up once and was going so fast that I didn't License Transfer my CoD 4, so I had to wait 4 months to get it back...

If your absolutely positive you did it, try re-downloading it again, but don't License Transfer, of course you can't, but still.

I have a common problem where I start a download and close the DL Screen, and when I do, it cancels the download, so I have to sit there and watch it download -_- Hope I helped some.

That was my bad... I meant the license transfer, not the registration. I can play any of my DL content on any console, as long as my account & content are present. But the content is unavailable to other gamertags/accounts on the console unless the licenses
have been transfered to that console.
