If I have two Xbox one consoles at home, and I sign into both, can myself and someone else...

You'll need a separate account, Suzanne but you can share your game and subscriptions on the other Xbox console through the Home Xbox feature.

1. Sign in to your account.

2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

4. Check "Make this as My Home Xbox".

For the other player, we'll need to have his/her own account.

One only, I have the two console setup myself. Make your daughter's console your home console and you are good to go(assuming your gamer tag is the one with gold). If you buy any digital games you only need to buy those once and you can download it on both
consoles. As an add on to what zero said on your non home console when you sign in anyone playing on the console with you will also have access to gold as long as your are signed in.

Digital content comes with two licenses … put differently, it's like two copies of the game. One copy always resides with your Home Xbox. The other is connected to your Microsoft account, allowing you to install and play it on any other Xbox One console
you sign into, even if someone else is using the one on your Home Xbox. So yes, you CAN play a digital game on two different consoles at the same time, as long as one of those consoles is the Home Xbox and the other is the one that YOU yourself are signed
into.

For disc-based content, you would indeed need one disc per console. However, anyone who has the disc in their console's drive can run that game. In this case, it is the disc that is the license to run the game.

In my previous statement I had posted that only one xbox was listed as the home xbox. However, the situation that follows has worked for years and is now not working. Console A has two xbox live gamer tags listing it as the home xbox. Now say no
one is using the home xbox but are signed into two other xboxs. Both of these other xboxs are not the home xbox. Both profiles were able to sign in to xbox live and play a game online.

Several accounts can be set as their home Xbox One console, but an account cannot be set as the home on more than one Xbox One.
