    If I have funds in my wallet can I use that in a $60 purchase?


    So I've got $5 in my Microsoft Wallet and I was wondering if I could use it when I pre-order Battlefield Hardline ($60) to reduce the price that I have to pay to $55 , if I can how do I do it ; right now I'm thinking that I just select Wallet Funds in the
    payment method and that it'll just charge me $55.

    also, if someone can tell me, why can you not pay for this with the funds in your wallet? I have enough to pay for it with what is in my wallet (Formally points) but I don't want to enter my credit card.......

    To do a split payment you have to choose your credit card first. It should ask if you want to use the remaining funds on your account first and then charge the rest to your cards. However, keep in mind that not everything can be purchased using a split payment,
    so it is possible your card will be charged the full amount.

    just go to buy it with your $5 it will shoot you to the credit card section and add the rest on by its self . I have done it plenty just bought ori game and had $8 and the rest was taken of my pre paid visa

    You can use gift card funds for Crew. It just didn't show up for me because I had nothing in the wallet. Once you have wallet funds, it becomes an option.

    Oh, I found a way. The web and mobile app may be no good for the store... not sure. But once I used my Xbox One I found the game, found the purchase (it's cheap right now). The only complication is that it only buys using credit card. I have wallet funds
    but it doesn't want to draw on that. This isn't the first time I've seen a Backwards Compatibility game purchase bypass my wallet.... That's a shame because I prefer funding the wallet instead of having a card on account. But you can't even claim Gold free
    games without a registered credit card.
