    If I factory reset my Xbox series s will I lose game progress?


    So my Xbox series S is currently experiencing a glitch where when I turn on the console it gets stuck in the Xbox startup screen. So a fix I’m gonna try is factory resetting but I do not know if this will make me lose any sort of game progress?

    Hello there!

    If you always play online, then even if you reset you Xbox; your progress and your games all are saved to the cloud. Once you sign back into your account everything will go back to what it is.

    There two options to reset your console; "reset and keep games & apps" and "remove everything", try selecting to keep games and apps so you do not have to re-install your games again.
