If i exhange a faulty console....

Do i lose all my game saves, personal data and xbox home set up that i have on my current console?

about sending in your xbox one for repairs....

free game is only for faulty drive so you could play download game while waiting for advance exhange, that's what they told me, what I heard was "your bricked Kinect and 10 days of waiting aren't as important so you get nothing but wasted time".

 

That was the final straw for me.

Not only a faulty console, faulty batteries and a faulty TV, I don't think it's the console that's the lemon...

 

Your saves should be backed up on the cloud although I can't remember if it automatically downloads them to your new console or if it does it when you load each game up as it was back in December when I replaced my console.

Your personal data is linked to your gamertag so when you recover your profile onto your new console you should have everything back on there.

The only thing you will have to do again will be re-download/install games that you have purchased from the games store or reinstall disc based games.

 

Yes, when you recover your profile on your new Xbox One. All your game saves should follow with it. Or at least when you use the corresponding game to access them.

 

yeah,the first time you start one of your games on the new console it will sync to the cloud servers for a bit while it's downloading your save.

The only thing you'll need to do on the new console to make digital games work properly again is to go into Settings then My Home Xbox and make the new one your new Home. Without doing this, your profile is still able to play any digital games you own while
it's connected to Live, but no other profile is and you cannot play them offline; making the new console your Home fixes that and makes it behave as normal.

Downloading your profile will bring with it all your settings and history, and starting up games will retrieve save files. (As mentioned previously.)
