I live in Germany and I am considering buying an XBox 360 on eBay. SOme of those I have my eye on are NTSC. So my Question is: Since it is possible to change the REgion of an XBLA-Account, does this apply to the Regional Coding of the Games, playable on the
respective Console connected to the Account?

Account "stuck" in France - can't migrate

Sorry to hear it. The code is a region issue (some content cannot be downloaded to regions they were not intended for).

You will need to change the region of your account to Switzerland though.

Please pay attention to the list of things that could prevent a region change to see if any apply to you. If nothing does then you'll need to contact phone support again for further assistance. If they say they cannot help then request to have the issue
escalated.

 

Did the DLC change the playability of this game?

Well, thanks for the feedback. As you can see the activity on this forum is really light, as sign that I take pretty seriously. It seems like this game is dead in the water. I could be wrong just my impression. Which would be a shame because the first one
(for all its problems) was really enjoyable.

 

You may want to read this page for information about region migration -
support.xbox.com/.../change-region

It can affect your licenses for any games you already own so they may no longer work after migrating. Also, if you migrate to a region that is not your own (which is not recommended), you will run into issue downloading any content that is region locked.

It will not affect the coding on the console. If you purchase an NTSC console, you would need to purchase NTSC games no matter what region you're in.
