If I buy a game on microsoft from my console will I be able to play it on my PC?

It depends on the games. If they support Play Anywhere, you can also download them on the PC for free.

Actually the algorithm is different for consoles and pc . So you wont be able to play no matter what controller you use .

You must buy from the ns store or xbox store to use it on xbox or pc

Since steam is a completely different marketplace

As long as a game supports Play Anywhere, you can buy it digitally for the Xbox and play it on both the Xbox and PC. Horizon 5 is a Play Anywhere title.
