    i brought a number of games with gold games on a different account that shares gold with mine, the only reason the account still has gold is to claim games with gold games, if i cancel gold and resubscribe using my account, will i still have access to
    my games with gold games?

    nope as they are account specific, they will only be available as long as the account that collected them has gold.

    Too early to judge GWG

    I brought my Xbox One before GWG started, so I consider GWG offerings to be free. If Microsoft stopped giving away free games I would happily continue my Gold subscription.

    You can get them via the xbox app on your pc.

    You will need a gold subscription or trial for xbox one games.

    Never used the app for gwg but I would think you'll also need a credit/debit card or paypal account linked to your account as well.
    I don't think I need a payment method as gwg is for active gold membership and I am a gold member.

    What system are you talking about.....

    If it is the 360 then you keep and can play all the gwg even if you revert back to a silver account..

    If it is the XB1 then you have to be a gold to access and play all GWG, if you go back to silver on XB1 then you cannot access any GWG, but at any time you can go gold again and get them all back.

    If you have a game code and already have the game via GWG on the xbox 360 then you cannot use the code as your account already has said game, but if it is a game code for the XB1 then just allow your account to go silver and then you can redeem said code
    to your XB1 account.
