    Purchased a Xbox 360-S but moving to Canada

    Hello Guys,

    Recently, I have purchased an Xbox 360-S from Singapore which I am currently a resident there.

    I would like to know if I can use my purchased Xbox 360-S from Singapore to Canada.

    And, all those games which I have purchased via Online or by buying the game CD can be used in Canada also?

    Lastly, can I use my Xbox live account when I moved to Canada?

    Hello,

    There's nothing we can do for you in this case. If you live in Canada and your father purchased a Canadian version of the game (NTSC) it's meant to only be used on Xbox 360 consoles purchased in North America (US/Canada).

    If your console was purchased in the UAE you will need to get PAL games from overseas or purchase a new Xbox 360 console in Canada.

    There's no way around this, sorry.

    The console itself can be used anywhere however the power brick will not be compatible with the 230v system used there and will require replacing.

    Turns out you can change the region of your account (bottom right corner of the account page on xbox.com). Solves the problem of downloads being from the wrong region.

    Doesn't solve the problem of the paid for download not working, which I'm still chasing them for (Canada says US can fix it; US says Ireland can fix it, but they can't give out a phone number for Ireland that works from outside Ireland...)

    If it is the original Xbox One with the separate power supply (brick) then you will need to purchase a new power supply, If you own an Xbox One S or Xbox One X then you will just need to purchase a new power cable.

    would not matter as Canada is already an established LIVE supported country so you would not be able to migrate your account from Ireland to Canada anyway.
