If a game has been delisted and taken off the Xbox One digital store, can I still use a physical disc of it to download it?

No. If you haven't downloaded the game before, you can't get it once it's delisted.

If you have previously purchased a game that has been delisted, go into your download history and attempt to redownload it from there. If you still can't, then it has been removed from the system completely.

Can't download game I own.

I recently had a new 360 so am downloading games from my download history.

I'm having a problem with one game I purchased years ago.

It's called Dreamfall: The longest journey

I know the game has been delisted but I was under the impression that you should still be able to download delisted games through your purchase history.

When I click it in the download history it says 'game no longer available'

As I own this game I should not be denied access to it. So if anyone from xbox support is reading this can you please restore access to this game otherwise I believe I should have a refund.

It's not a very good advertisement for digital when MS can pull access to digital games you own on a whim.

If there is a disc available you can always install and play from the disc. You cannot "download" the game from the disc and play without it; you'll still need to insert the disc so that the system knows that you own / possess the game.

The game has been delisted from the store since 2018, the only way to get a copy now is to purchase a physical disc copy of the game. If you own the game digitally, then you can re-download from your game library.

Any game that has been delisted will no longer be able to download from the Xbox 360 store. If you haven't purchased the game, then your only option is to purchase a physical disc copy from your local or online game store. If you own the digital copy of the game, then you can download the game from your download history. Just goto settings - account - download history, scroll down to the game you want to play, and start the download.

if digital version just download from your library, if disc then impossible as you would need to own the digital version and that has since been delisted.

The Rio game was delisted from the store back in 2018. Anyone who purchased the game digitally before it's removal from the store will be able to download and play it. Otherwise will will only be playable with a disc copy of the game.
