    If the X1 hardware is capable of simultaneous Read/writes and under DX11+ isn't using those features than moving to DX12 enable this and many other things not used in the design. Then yes it will make X1 a beast. Doubters just need to #Dealwithit at this
    point. The games are already showing great promise in what the box can do.

    Wow I thought I'd seen the back of this thread. Good work mods!!

    As said above, just remove the trash (trolls) and let those who are actually trying to have a civil conversation continue. Not saying people can't have opinions of course but they need to learn how to express them in a less trollish manner IEEE New GPU Details :)

    So anyway back on track, it will be interesting to see what the Windows 10 event in January brings.

    As far as I know DX12 is launching alongside Win 10?

    I think you are reading a little too deep into it foo. All I and others are saying is don't get your hopes up, which a lot of people still believe there is something "lurking" inside the X1 that is going to magically pop up and turn the machine into a beast.

    Given the fact Phil Spencer himself greatly tempered expectations of the release of dx12 onto the Xbox One... I wouldn't expect a huge huge upgrade by any stretch. If graphics are your #1 concern your in the wrong place in a ps4 or Xbox One forum period.
    PC has long held that crown I simply Care more about having fun.
