    IE for the 360 acting strange.


    Since last evening, i have been trying to use IE via the 360. Now, IE loads but when I go to Xbox Forums for example it gives me this message.

    "There is a problem with this websites security certificate. We recommend that you do not continue to this website. The security certificate presented by this website has errors, and should not be trusted. Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt
    to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server."

    This message is followed by. "Go Back To Safety" and "Continue Anyway." Both clickable yet leads directly to a white screen.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    PS: I have deleted and reinstalled IE, even went into setting and disabled cookies. But it's still the same.

    Lol, I just solved the problem. I had to reset my game to default settings. Now it works, yay!

    Are you in the Preview Program? I don't often use IE on 360 but I noticed in...

    Settings > Account > Billing Options...

    They've added Purchase History to the options. It links directly to IE, opens it up, and signs you in to see your history. Convenient. =)

    Sometimes you just have to wait for them updates. I myself haven't used IE on the 360 for a while now. Haven't bothered with it for a while because it's just too slow. Glad to hear you got it fixed though.

    Today I opened up IE and it started updating. Worked good, but it now shuts down randomly for no reason that I am aware of. Maybe another update will fix that issue as well?

    Today I opened up IE and it started updating. Worked good, but it now shuts down randomly for no reason that I am aware of. Maybe another update will fix that issue as well?

    Sometimes you just have to wait for them updates. I myself haven't used IE on the 360 for a while now. Haven't bothered with it for a while because it's just too slow. Glad to hear you got it fixed though.

    Xbox one s won't play certain games

    Do you only have problems with Disc based media or is digital download acting strange aswell?

    If it is only physical based media, ie DvD, Bluray etc, then it could be that the disc drive is failing. Contact support via livechat or phone call to better resolve the issue.
