IE - Can I get mallware on xbox one?

So I was at work and my girlfriend texts me with a picture that she got a blue screen while surfing net which said that my computer devise is infected and I need to call a number given to fix the problem, I've never experienced anything like that, I tried
to recreate what she have done but nothing happened,

So the questionis, is that just a pop up or a mallware which I doubt myself.

P.S she took a picture if required I can upload it somewhere

Cant find HBO GO app for XBOX One

Can we get someone from XBOX answer the questions or give us an update on HBOGO or at least flash so that we can access HBO vie IE. or is IE Dead on Xbox One as the PC version?

Am I asking too much from the forum?

Youtube on IE to full screen

Just get the youtube app. Who uses IE on a console? Probably older people who are old school. Most of my friends watch videos on youtube not IE, for xbox. As for volume, you can adjust the volume on every TV. As for IE i prefer uzing it on my PC.

Sounds like it may have just been a pop up and I know that particular one is a common one based on the verbiage you provided. Since the Xbox One is not running a full version of Windows, .exe files can't be executed/downloaded which is normally how you end
up with installed malware.

However, I know you can end up in a never ending circle of malicious webpages where you can't view a different page. This is corrected by the following:

1) Return to the Home screen by pressing the Xbox button on your controller, or by saying “Xbox, go home.”

2) Select Store.

3) Select Search.

4) Type anything in the bar, and then press Menu to start the search.

5) Scroll to the right, and then select Get web results.

Can you download demos from the website? ie if my Xbox One is in sleep mode or whatever it's called, then I can have it downloaded ready for when I get home?

this problem may also be caused by malware/virus etc which is still sending emails to that address and those are just replies. Be sure to run a anti mallware program and or virus scanner to check if there is still something on the PC
