    IE App for Xbox One how to clear saved photos


    Hello, I have a question about the Internet Explorer App for the Xbox One.

    When web browsing, I am able to "right click" on photos and save them on my console. This is so I can pick a custom gamerpic. However, I've got photos that I don't need, and I cannot figure out how to delete them from the Xbox. The settings for IE App doesn't
    let you, the Xbox console settings doesn't let you. I think at one point there was a "file explorer" app where you could access your downloads and delete them. This app seems to have been removed or deleted. Please help, thanks!

    Sorry to hear about the issue you're seeing, but let's see if the steps here can help get this cleared up.

    Can you set up the phone so it
    automatically syncs     your pictures & videos to the Cloud?

    Alternatively, there's some
    info on using the Windows Phone app for Win8 here     that should be able to make your videos usable on both platforms.

    as far as I know there are no Official Xbox Apps that can create a photo with Kinect, but the one you mentioned could be a 3rd party app, in that case you might have to contact the developer or the app specific community for that app to see if there are
    ways to resolve the issue you are experiencing.

    Hey there Sully! To delete an app, navigate to the Storage menu and find IE under Games & Apps. You can delete it there, then clear cache, and try installing it from the Dashboard tile again. Let us know how that goes, thanks!
