Ideas for games - game rental

Microsoft said they were looking into ideas like a digital game rental service.

Thats a great idea, or simply pay rental then once you stop paying you can no longer use the games you have rented and can only have one at a time.

Not only gamestop . The rental market and others litle retailers count for that too . I always said the gamers that support rental market but are anti-used are hypocrite because both are the same . Is an irony think Gamestop is the only devil here but
rental market is an Angel.

All of this ridiculous restriction is the result of gamers that supported blindly the greedy Online Passes bending their knees to the devs . As an old gamer, i am disappointed with the way the gaming industry is evolving .I welcome good ideas in favor
of gaming and gamers but dislike the ideas where only purpose is GREED. Too many restrictions to something so simple like should be play games and have fun solo with family or friends.

I dont think so. If you were able to rent games for 2$ a day like redbox, but directly through your XboxOne people would finish single player games normally 60$ just for 2$. Money isn't made by renting and its all about MONEY. When redbox rents out they
are making the profits. Xbox(Microsoft) is trying to steer away from used games and rentals. At least they are planning on allowing New games to be traded once. Microsofts theory is to stop gamestop from gaining profits of used games so the money can go directly
to the publisher by buying new games thus possibly lowering New Game Prices.
