    Idea Drive: Being able to select all, skip through and have a more optimized experience...


    Some of us remember the days when we used to hold down the rewind button on a VHS player for 10 minutes every time we wanted to watch a movie, if we all had to live through that again, knowing the technology exists where that’s not needed, we’d hate it, yet for some mind boggling reason Xbox still forces us to hold RB/LB when sifting through text, messages, reviews and browsing Microsoft Edge on our consoles.

    Do you know how annoying it is to sit there holding the RB down for 5 minutes, then holding the x button to backspace for another 5 minutes, just to edit something you posted? You probably do, it’s annoying, why are we still living in the 90s? I thought this problem was going to be fixed back when they first announced “project scarlet”, I got my Series X, apparently it’s too much of a hassle to fix one of the most easiest things to fix in 2021.

    Not enough space error

    Internal drive is formatted to be optimized for Games and Apps. When you attach an external drive, you're prompted with options of selecting whether to use the new drive for Games or for Media. If you select games, it will work same as internal drive and
    will be optimized for games. For music and movies, you've to have an external drive formatted for media.

    The reason, I suspect, is this that Xbox One is primarily a gaming console and thus it needs it's internal drive optimized for loading games faster. With 1TB console, you can install a lot of games on the drive, and that's the reason many select it, just
    to have lot of games installed, and storing media on it not being the primary reason.

    Seriously, where do people get the idea that it being a part of the system means developers are going to be gun-ho about it? The Wii did and it was nothing more than gimmick and a fad.

    Motion controls will never super-cede controllers for optimal gaming experience.

    NVidia Custom Settings doesn't show games from Xbox Beta, making impossible to use custom settings provided by the Graphic Card.

    Do you have the Nvidia Geforce Experience? all the games you have on Xbox Beta will show up on Geforce Experience and can be optimized from there,

    All my Xbox Beta games show up on Geforce Experience and can be optimized from there.

    HDMI Passthrough issues when using HTPC

    No, that slight lag is unavoidable. It's been publicised in the past that consoles can be passed through but the experience may not be optimal.

    My issue is complete freeze ups that can only by fixed by a pc reboot, hdmi re-insert (though this lasts a matter of seconds only) or by somehow already having media playing. This is quite difficult in reality as you have to be able to see what your doing
    to select some media.

    I think that it is a great idea.

    I don't mind forza but i like the concept of not only being able to drive around the open world but to also be able to get out of the vehicle it adds more interaction.

    I like your idea of adding all different goals and game style. While some cars are racing there's a truck delivering goods.
