[id@xbox] Please remove the requirement to have a registered business company.

The above suggestion is correct but I have to ask, without a Business associated how would Microsoft pay you for earned revenue on your Game when it sells?

Starting Business in and of itself can vary Region to Region and even State to State (in the US) but most everywhere its a pretty simple and straight forward process. Send documentation and paperwork to place "x" and pay "x" if required.

For us to determine what's hindering from successfully registering, we need to know more information. Please provide answers to the following questions.

1. Were you able to get through all the steps and fill out the information?
   
2. Did you receive response through an email?
   
3. Are you signing up as a registered business?

ID@Xbox - For registered business looking for potential partnerships while taking advantage of our tools and services to port or launch on our platform.

Creator's Program - For any user who wants to launch a title on Xbox and does not require a registered business. Doesn't allow the user to have online functionality nor is it listed with the rest of the ID titles.

Are you registering for ID@Xbox or Xbox Live Creators Program?

If this is your first time, it should be through Xbox Live Creators Program.

You can put your full name as your company name or as part of your company name (ie Joe Shmoe Games) and you won't need to worry about someone already having that name. You can always change the name
later when you have established a business.

If you sign up as an individual (and not as a company) registration fee is only $19, so it is pretty affordable.

Q. Why can't I access the Private Forum link?

A. The Private Forums require us to use the gamertag you used to register your console for the Public Beta and there are several things that can cause your access not to work.

• It takes 1-2 business days after you register your console to get you enrolled in the private forum, please have patience.
  
• Make sure you are logged in with the Windows Live ID attached to the gamertag you used to register your console.
  
• If you have never visited the Xbox.com forums before, we have been unable to permission your gamertag with our private forum. With the gamertag you used to register your console into the Public Beta, log into forums.xbox.com and take a look around. You should
  have access within 1-2 business days after that.
