I'd like to know if this is a scam or not

I got an email today from *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***, and it was for "Invitation from Microsoft Studios User Research team"

The email read: "Greeting from Microsoft Studios User Research!

We’d love to get your feedback on Destiny. If you would like to participate, please follow the link below which
will direct you to an online survey. The survey is about 20 questions and should take 5-10 minutes to complete. In return for your time you will be entered into a sweepstakes for free Microsoft software (including games!). Please note that the survey is only
open to US residents 18 and over.

And it gave me a link to take a survey about Destiny, then asked what my Xbox gamertag was if I had one, and asked if I was "interested in joining the feedback program", and then said "Please select your preferred gratuity item if you are selected
as a sweepstakes winner.", which I clicked on 12 months of xbox live gold.

After that it said "Please fill out the information below, so we will know where to ship your gratuity if you are a sweepstakes winner!", and asked for basically all my personal info, such as my name, and address, also asked for an email to contact
me if I win, that's when I started to suspect it might just be a scam, because that's basically all the info you need to get past my security on my account.

So I want to know if this is something legitimate, or just a scam?

Possible for a XBOX Live Administrator or Moderator to re-set a XBOX Live gamer-score. I'd very much like to start over from Zero but I wouldn't want to make another account since I've spent so much on this one already. Please help a customer in need!

Only if it's been modded. If it was reset due to modding any achievements earned or ill gotten pre reset will be locked and unearnable post reset.

 

I got that same e-mail exactly. I didn't click on anything just dismissed it, but yea sounds like a phishing e-mail if asking personal questions. if anyone in xbox could look into this i'd like to know for sure as well.

 

If you do a search on google or bing for that email address you would find, as I did, others talking about it and how it is a legitimate address.

However, if you are unsure as to whether you should complete it or not you can send a message to @xboxsupport on Twitter and they can let you know if it is a legitimate address.

 

I was on this program as well and I did get something in return I got sunset overdrive in return. It not a scam.
