If Microsoft would make it possible to have a secondary "Home" Xbox One in the same house, like requiring it to be on the same network in order to work, I would go and buy a second Xbox One immediately. I will wait a couple of months to see if this ever
becomes possible. If not, I will go buy an PS4. I have three kids and I'm a gamer as well and we have to take turns playing the *** thing. I have researched this a lot so I know all of the possible options. No ne of them work for me other than having a secondary
home Xbox in the same house.

:)

Drop the Kinect!
Microsoft please take some advice and drop the Kinect. I don't want a camera watching me in my home. It's a fad that has not caught on for most gamers. Drop the Kinect and sell the Xbone one for a hundred dollars cheaper. Otherwise the PS4 is looking
like a better alternative to me.
Then buy a PS4, you don't owe Microsoft any sort of brand loyalty, if you don't like Kinect, don't get an Xbox One, simple as that really.

5. I highly doubt we will ever see 2 home consoles allowed but that would be nice if they kept everything else the same

Why do you need 2 home consoles, as it stands, you can have 2 consoles that have full access to everything tied to your Live account.

I would have access to everything because I download games with my account. But the rest of my family would only have access to everything on the only home console. To play on the non-home console, everyone else would have to have a gold membership and a
second copy of the same game, etc. Look it up. Basically the second console would only be mine.

You make your kids xbox the home console, then everyone gets to play your games.

OP didn't you "research this a lot"? Set one console as your home (with your gold account). That console has everything under your account. Keep your gold account logged into the other console (don't make it the gold account home). The second console also
has access to everything on your gold account. Seems a lot of people use this method (some in this forum)

Yep ,,what burnin said ..

I have 2 ,one in the family room and one in the man cave ..

The one in the man cave is set as "home" that way the kids or i can go down and play or do whatever we want on any GT at any time ..The family room one is always signed in on my GT..Easy Peasy .

Its also a lot of fun to play the same game with my son and we each get a TV...

We play NBA and prefer different camera views and forza with no split screen is really nice too

If I had two consoles I would want to have the option for everyone to play on one or the other. There are endless different situations why I might want the kids to play on one or the other console (people visiting, wife asleep, watching TV, etc.)... I'm
pretty sure that if I kept my gold account signed into the non-home XBO it would not let the kids and wife play the games that I downloaded under my account. I think that it'd be like them trying to play Garden Warfare on the 360 without gold. I really don't
know. What if I buy a second XBO and they can't use it. Can I return it?

I have done this with my relatives xbox one. Signed in my personal gold account on one of their machines. Instantly all my nephews (with silver accounts) have access to all my content (I bring my HD with all games on it). It works. Meanwhile my home console
140 miles away also allows anyone to play my content.

Hey Feed, can your kids play in the family room while you play in the man cave? Or do you always have to be in the family room if you want to play the same game with the kids?

This is what ive been doing for over a year now, it works, keep in mind that the "home" console will have access to Gold and all the digital content linked to that account, and because the content is tied to your Live account, when you log into a non-home
console, you'll have access to everything for as long as your logged into your Live account, and the actual home console will have access whether your account is logged in or not.

Now if you wanted a third console, you'd be out of luck, but some things to remember, you can only be signed into 1 console at a time, and you can only change your home console 3 times a year.
