    hi, sorry for my english because i'm french, i am a probleme and my request is for the black screen, this is impossible to play with my xbox, she start but the icon are invisible. I test to I tried to unplug it but nothing works

    Wierd Bug..Steamroller Bike Boss

    I got this bug too, but just rammed the bike with a car till it exploded then if you look closely you will see an icon above the boss even though he is invisible. Just keep ramming into the area where you see the icon and you will kill him.

    Invisible mortars

    I have come across mortar men that do not appear as an icon on the map when you attempt to counter mortar them.

    First: I have read posts where people have suggested that they are just hidden somewhere in a corner but many maps where it happens are too small to hide anywhere.

    Second: I have read opinions where people suggest that the mortar men are setting up firing then moving immediately but there still would be a mortar icon even if it were for a split second.

    Third: At one point I did find an invisible mortar man on Kirkland Rush. He set up in an empty swimming pool on the hill and his icon did not appear on the map and I found him after a little bit. Not really sure if there is some way to hid your icon by placing
    your mortar in some are similiar to a drained swimming pool.

    I'm trying to run down a list of possibilities but I have yet to find a common factor that allows mortar men to remain invisible other than glitches or hacks.

    Any thoughts or observations would be welcomed as I am positive I am not the only one who has come across this and it sucks to be on the opposing end of an invisible mortar barrage.

    none of my games will update and i'm not sure who to blame the internet provide or xbox live

    I believe you might have satilite internet.... Hughesnet? modem HT1000? thats where this error is seent the most.

    1.Go to www.systemcontrolcenter.com

    2.To the right of System Information you will see an italics "i" in white, with a slightly off-white white around it - very to see this icon, but click that.

    3.(Another way to see the icon because it is almost invisible is to crtl+a and that way it highlights the icon)

    4.Click on Web Acceleration.

    5.Click Control.

    6.Place a check in the "Disable Web Acceleration" box.

    7.Click Submit.

    Thanks for the update Bowtie! I found this little bit of info and it sounds like what you're experiencing. Try these steps and let us know how that goes.

    For customers who are trying to access the marketplace or dashboard and get the error "some xbox live content is temporarily unavailable; Status Code 80072746" try these steps.



      1. Go to www.systemcontrolcenter.com
      2. To the right of System Information you will see an italics "i" in white, with a slightly off-white white around it - very hard for some to see this icon, but click that. (Another way to see the icon because it is almost invisible is to crtl+a and that

      3. Click on Web Acceleration.
      4. Click Control.
      5. Place a check in the "Disable Web Acceleration" box.
      6. Click Submit.

    If you are not able to find Web Acceleration, make sure you are using IE 6.0, Netscape 6.2, Firefox 1.0 or newer. If none of these are an option, an ISP technician may be able to remotely disable it.
