Would you pay to attend a tournament?

I don't think anyone from where you live will respond. Try putting flyers in the paper or something. And why don't you just do it World Wide with no fee? Most people will not attend things like this if there is a fee. And sorry, I live in America. I can`t
come to your house.

 

Would you pay to attend a tournament?

Hello everyone,

I am looking in to setting up a tournament in or around my home town and wanted to gauge if there would be interest.

It would be held in England (south yorkshire) and there would be a small entry fee at the door (No more than a few pounds) to help fund the competition and prizes.

So, how many would be interested?

I have not yet decided what games would be played but i am open to suggestions.

All matches would be played VIA LAN to prevent any lag.

 

Pax actually isn't that bad! Especially if you're on the East Coast and can make it to Boston. I've been to PAX East the last 2 years and it has been great!

There is a wide range of games to play for all platforms. Ark was a HUGE thing this year, they had a 4 story T Rex you could get on and get a photo for free and a bunch of other great free activities. I've met so many Twitch streamers that I watch and even
gone out to the Twitch after parties.

Xbox itself actually has 1-2 booths filled with Xboxes where you can test out games. They showed off some controllers and they had raffles to win products.

You also get to walk away with a lot of swag, from shirts to game codes.

Even if you only go once, It's totally worth it.
