I would like to preorder Digital Games

I would never use this feature if they added it. After Battlefield 4, I will never trust a developer/publisher to put out a good/unbroken product. Don't care how excited or "awesome" a game might look....until I get solid reviews and pick up enough info
from early adopters, these companies aren't getting a dime from me.

 

Preorders of digital content would be nice.

 

well burnin this is where they need to rethink the policies regarding digital content...people should have a 48 hour return option where if you chose to refund you're charged a rental fee but atleast you're not stuck with a $60 game that didnt live up to
its value in your eyes. There needs to be more consumer rights here...all this "digital sales are final" as I will always say...needs to go.

 

If they did implement a return option all achievements should be rescinded, along with all progress should you buy the game again, you must start from scratch. In return, you get back 90% of what you paid.

 

A lot of people don't care about achievements, allowing people to return a digital game for a refund (even 90%) is crazy, as mist players would buy the digital copy of say Tomb Raider, hammer the single player and then return it.

Most shops now don't allow a refund if the game has been opened purely because people were doing this exact same thing.

 

Also, Sony did a pre-download of a digital game on the PS3 last year (can't remember whic one) it was a shambles. People were able to release videos showing the cut scenes a few days before the game was released. Then when the game was released those that
had downloaded early couldn't play the game because of technical problems.

 

The issue is people downloading it, shutting off their wifi, and fast forwarding their date to the release day. Also, hackers break time seals very easily.

Actually he said that "all he could say right now" was exactly that. You read an out of context quote.

 

@Kingvas Good for you. However, things like Dampierre in Soulcalibur V and getting to play what I think is THE best version of Virgil in Devil May Cry, for FREE.99 far out weigh a little bonus MP map. I guess its the games you play that illustrates just
how much of a loss this really is.

 

Eh, I still won't be getting a big game digitally but it would be nice if we got demos back of digital only games. And what they should do is release the demo a few days before hand, we download it, play it, and then at the release date we can purchase the
full version. I don't recall any hackers getting full games of demo arcade games on 360.

Anyway, on a sorta related note, I feel they should drop the street dates on physical copies of games but not digital. If a game comes to a store, let them sell it. And if this were to happen the digital version should be at a discount, which is still why
I won't buy a full game digitally if I can get a disc.

 

I'm all digital and loving it. The ability to either preorder and have the DL start on the release date automatically or catching up to PC gaming and going the route of preloading would be a welcome addition.
