I would like to listen to Xbox party chats that I don’t have access to

The ratio of people 'worth listening to' to 'not listening to' is like .5 to 10. Even before party chat I would have the option to just listen to my friends.

I personally don’t usually listen to music while gaming. I’m usually either in party chat, listening for footsteps or both. I have a hard time concentrating with music going also. I even turn down my in-game music or off completely on some games.

For the people moaning about party chart even before party chat xbox already had private chat. I would rather be in private or party chat talking to people i know than listening to randomers there is nothing wrong with party chat. i think its a good feature.
i think there are alot of people that would rather speak on the head set if it is friends or fam they are speaking to..

I like to listen to my own music and personally wouldn't want party chat music.

You also have to contend with all the various laws around the world that govern the broadcasting and playing of music and that would be an absolute minefield to walk through.

The problem is that I can no longer talk, listen to party chat and listen to game chat on the same headset as I once could.

I can listen to game chat and party chat on the same headphones, but the xbox/controller doesn't send the audio form my microphone to any service.

People in my party can not hear me, and when I record messages, there is nothing recorded.

I can, however, hear my own voice when a certain setting is turned on, on the xbox. (I can't remember the name of this setting right now)

My mic is not muted in any hardware control or any xbox setting that I know of.
