    Good day, I bought minecraft on xbox, but it was only transferred to my computer in the form of minecraft Java edition and I have to buy the bedrock edition again. I would like to know why I don't have the bedrock edition when it should be merged.

    Did you purchase it on the Xbox Console?

    Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title so you would have to purchase it for the PC if you want to play it on the PC.

    Not sure why you have access to the Java version, but it's not from the Xbox Console purchase.

    I'm being asked to buy Minecraft: Java and Bedrock edition although I have already owned Bedrock for years and I have Java on my laptop.

    The Xbox edition of Minecraft in the screenshot is still the Bedrock edition, is it not? I should have access to Java through owning the Bedrock edition, and I don't understand why I wouldn't be able to play it if I played Java in the past with my Microsoft account without having to buy Java.

    BRO IS NOT THE SAME MOST OF THE FUNCTION IN BEDROCK EDITION ARE MISSING IN MINECRAFT WINDOW EDITION. EXAMPLE NO F3 FUNCTION... THE GLASS ARE NOT MERGE HOW IT CAN BE CONSIDER ARE THE SAME VERSION.
