I would like to change the spelling of my GamerTag

I just spent what I think was a little under 2 hours with Support Live Chat and just kept going in circles so I'm posting here to see if I get any help. Ok here is he deal.

I have an old account, CadenFall I made for Games for Windows Live 4 years ago. It only has 100 or some achievements on it.

Got an xbox 360 a bit later and didn't have internet to recover my account. So I made a new one CaidenFall and made up a new email address just for it. It currently has over 30k achievements on it.

Now I'd like to remove the "i" from my current Gamertag, CaidenFall (30k gamerscore). Only problem is I haven't used CadenFall (100 GS)in over 4 years so it deleted my email address to it so I can't access it. I simply wanted to delete or change the name
of CadenFall so I can change CaidenFall to it.

Well since my real email address wasn't attached to it anymore I wanted to link it to my current gamertag. So I want to make the gamertag I use often linked to my real email address and have it spelled correctly. It told me I needed to make an account first
with that email address. So I did, however it slapped a gamertag on it and now it won't let me use my email address on my current gamertag because it's already on a third one.

I just wanted to remove a single letter and ended up creating a third gamer tag. I can't access my first gamer tag and feeling lost I then spent a while going around in circles on the live chat. So could some one help me out here?

BTW: I'm posting this on my email address which is now attached to the mistake, third gamertag.

Thanks but I know how to change my gamertag....

The point is, I created the gamertag "h1GhL1F3" about 5 years ago. (exactly with this spelling) and I want the correct spelling back. I would have changed it, but for 800 Points??? No way!

In my opinion it´s not ok that I have to pay 800 MS Points for a new one; it was not my mistake! I´m satisfied with my gamertag and would like to keep it, but the spelling.....

Your name is Pod Bullet? Odd.

Regardless, having your real name on your gamertag is NOT a violation of the Code of Conduct, you will have pay the 800 MS Points to change it.

 

Well, you just made a little mistake in it. Setting up a new account with the correct email address was not meant to be set up as a new gaming account on your Xbox, but as a new account on live.com because then it has no gamertag associated.

Take this guide here and do it again. In the guide is also explained how to unbound the unwanted gamertag from your live account. Just keep in mind that "create a new account" is not meant as "create a new Xbox profile" but as create a new account on www.live.com

Ok... this is getting worse and worse the more I try and fix it.

The guide you posted had me create third email address which I did but for some reason it didn't work so I had to make a fourth one. That one did work, then it said I couldn't switch accounts at this time when I tried to use it. Now I have 3 gamer tags and
4 email accounts.

All this headache will go away if I can just plain and simply get my 2 gamertags deleted. Is there any way that can happen?
