    To be blunt, my Elite Series 2 controller was recommended by multiple websites and I find it to be one of the most disappointing purchase I've ever made in that lofty price range. The bluetooth pairing doesn't work on PC at all, so I have to play it wired.
    That would be fine if the controller was as amazing as the old Xbox 360 controllers, but it has major issues. Worse yet, I have noticed that these issues (unresponsive "A" buttons, LB buttons, etc) are running rampant over the entire production SKU, so much
    so that you increased your warrantee to cover repairs. However, I was sold a known defective product anyway. I have little faith in the shysters who decided to rip people off by selling broken controllers, but I have a feeling that the techs Microsoft employs
    for repairing them are most likely top shelf, awesome people and I bet they can fix my controller right up. I don't want to have to return four different controllers like a lot of the people I've read about only to have to give up and take a bath on my $180
    controller.

    Long story short: How can I get a repair on my defective controller instead of a replacement?

    I would like to get this controller repaired but I can only find ways to get a replacement. This is a xbox design lab controller so idk if they're gonna replace it, plus the serial number didnt show up when I punched it in. Is there an easier way to get a replacement or a fix for this elite series 2 controller?

    I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing some issues with your controller.

    According to the Manufacturer's Limited Hardware Warranty & Agreement for Xbox devices:

    "When replacing the unit, Microsoft may use either the same unit model or, if unavailable, the model nearest to the original model’s form, functionality, and performance, in Microsoft’s sole discretion."

    This means that if Microsoft determines your controller needs to be replaced instead of repaired, and the Halo Infinite Elite Controller is not available, it would most likely be replaced for a standard Elite Series 2 controller.

    Microsoft did not send me a replacement controller and now wants me to pay for a repair

    I got my controller back and the left stick was still stuck. I don't know If they test the controllers(obviously not) but I do know that if they couldn't fix the controller(which they didn't) they would replace it. I didn't get a replacement, my controller wasn't repaired. An series 2 Elite controller is quite expensive I don't understand why they treat It likes it's nothing. I'm not made of money, please someone help me.

    Microsoft knew the controllers were defective and still sold them as a good product. they wont do anything to fix your controller because its most like out of warranty thats why the warranty was so short. The whole elite series 2 was a scam
