I would like my rewards sent to my alias email address instead of my primary email address.

I would like my redeemed rewards to be sent to my alias email I already have on file where I also currently receive all of my other communications such as purchase confirmations, billing etc.

My primary alias cannot be changed as it is associated with an ISP I no longer use and do not have access to.

I am simply asking for my redeemed rewards to be sent to my valid alias email I currently use on my account.

Xbox Live Family email adress

My Microsoft account's primary alias is stuck as an Xbox Live Family email address and I cant't change it. I can't change my primary alias because of this "Your organization's policies prevent you from changing your primary alias". On top of that there doesn't
seem to be any way to access this email address. If anyone has a solution It would be greatly appreciated.

Non-existent primary alias

Hello,

I would like to change my primary alias, as it is not an email address that exists. However, in order to change my primary alias, or add new aliases which I can switch my primary alias to, I must first "verify" my primary alias. Doing this claims to
send additional verification steps to the email address that's pointed to by the alias which... doesn't exist! Hence my reason for trying to get rid of it. There does not appear to be an alternative verification option or really anything else that I can
do. Does anyone have any ideas?

We use the billing email for your account to send emails. You can change this information by going to the commerce page at (https://account.microsoft.com/), selecting "Edit your billing info", and then changing
your billing email from that screen.

Like I said I've been using this new address for 2+ years now to login etc. Verification codes and the like will get sent to it correctly. Billing receipts and Xbox Rewards emails get sent to the old one.

It is my Primary (and only) alias. As far as I can tell I've removed any reference to my old address on both the Microsoft Account side and the Xbox side of things.

So, If I'm understanding your question, you have a gamertag tied your dad's email address that you want to tie to your email address instead, right?

In theory, as long as you have access to both accounts, you should be able to change the associated email addresses(s). You'll need to login to your old Microsoft account (dads) and change the primary email alias to the new email address you want to use.
Before you can do that, you will need to login to your new account (with the email you want to use) and change the primary email alias to some other email account you have. Then, have your dad login to his account and change the primary email alias to the
email you want to use instead. He would be forfeiting his account to you, but that is the only way to keep the old gamertag with your new email address. Keep in mind, if he is the primary account over a family of Microsoft accounts, this would transfer everything
to you... in theory.

I want to add an alias to my account but I cannot because I have a this warning: "For security reasons, you need to verify your primary alias before you can add another alias." How can I add an alias if I cannot verify my primary address? I no longer have
access to my primary email address as it no longer exists.
