    So a guy has gotten me banned for saying in a message and literaly one second after i get banned because he reported me however,
    i have reported him MULTIPLE times for saying words, but he doesnt get banned. When i brought this up at the xbox enforcement website instead of reading what i wrote they just said that it
    was offensive even though i mentioned how he has said worse without punishment, how he somehow unfairly got suspended my two friends a total of five times total, and also how he shares information that i dont want
    on the internet as common knowledge but even then they didnt ban him. Im not going to sit here and say i didnt deserve a ban but what i will say is it is not okay that he can do all of that but when i say, he reports
    me and i immediatley get banned. P.S. I would submit another thing on the enforcement website but they literaly just denied me didnt mention anything i said and now i cant submit another. P.S.S I would like to remind everyone that I pay money for this treatment.
    P.S.S.S Dont just say hes as bad as me because if that were true he would get banned. P.S.S.S.S If youre going to tell me to follow the terms of service why are you letting him get away with not following them that makes zero sense.

    In order to answer why you were immediately banned the second you sent the message and got reported, and he could continue to stay online:

    The Enforcement uses a database system to handle over thousands of incoming reports per day. Each report is being put in a waiting queue, and depending on several factors, some reports move up the queue faster than other reports.

    One of these factors is a trustability or reliability score of the person sending in the report.

    Each person on Xbox Live has a "trustability score" so to speak, which means, that people that often send correct reports will be more trustable, while people that "cry
    wolf
    " and incorrectly report people without reason (e.g. sore losers that lost a game, and try to report people out of spite despite not having done something against the Code of Conduct) will have their "trustability" reduced.

    Reports that come from a more trustable source are moved up in the reporting queue faster, as the Enforcement team can be sure that the report is about an actual infringement.

    It might be, that this was your first actual report you ever did, or maybe you abused the reporting system in the past and have a lower trust score, so your report is still in the waiting queue (but rest assured, your report WILL be reviewed and being acted
    upon, but not as immediately).

    You must sign in there with the account that has the suspension and there you will find an orange hammer on the first page that you would click on and it will show you your enforcement history and if the suspension is eligible there
    would be a link there to click on to file for a case review.

    A case review will allow you to appeal your suspension which an enforcement agent will look at your case again and determine if they can lift the suspension sooner.

    The case review is only to review your suspension, not anyone else's actions which is why they didn't respond to that. In situations like that, it's best to just report them and block them instead of responding. It ultimately doesn't matter how the situation
    started. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct youcan be punished. As long as you did report the other person, then enforcement team will look into them as well. Just because they may not have received a suspension yet (theres no way for
    you to know for sure), it doesnt mean they wont.

    Creating duplicate threads is a violation of forum rules as is calling out other gamers.

    I understand you are frustrated, and are looking for answers. Ultimately, we are not able to help you with this matter in this forum. As the mods stated earlier, this matter should be handled bt the Enforcement team. One thing i can say is it does
    take some time to investigate reports. If you logged acceptable complaints the Enforcement team will do what is needed. Sorry I cant provide you with any other answers, but please do not violate other terms by reposting again.

    Your best bet when you encounter people like this is to just mute and block them without saying a word.

    It's my practice at least and it hasn't failed me so far.
