Yes, you can play Xbox 360 (and original Xbox) games on Xbox One. There are two ways, putting the disc in or buying the game (you may get the game for free if you used the same Microsoft account from your Xbox 360). But there will be a few downsides:

1. Most Xbox 360 (and original Xbox) games will not be rendered in 4K

2. Only select Xbox 360 titles can be played using Backwards Compatibility. List of games
