    I wish to receive a Gamertag change.......


    Ive been playing Xbox 360 for a little over 6-7 years and ive had my current Gamertag since i started. I was younger and obviously not so clever with the name now it's 2014 im 19 and i get constant hate messages for it and people assume that i am a little
    kid. They call me derogative names and the frequency of the name calling is a bit much, not to mention i get kicked as well because no one wants to play with someone who appears to be 7. Please help me out!!!!! I wish to receive a Gamertag change....... :(

    No, you will not receive a free Gamertag change. If you wish to keep this account, you'll need to spend the Microsoft Points to change it.

    Forced Gamer Tag Change

    When you receive a forced gamertag change your tag is changed to an auto generated gamertag. Should you wish to change it you will need to pay the $10 fee. For more info on FNCs please refer to

    sorry unless a name violates the rules (yours does not) you will have to pay the same 10 dollars we all do if we want to change ours. you can block communications with the users harassing you or set your profile to friends only so only those on your list
    can communicate with you, those are your only options sadly.

    If you really are getting harassing messages then file a complaint via your console.

    I've been given a negative randomly generated name.

    "If a player is unhappy with the assigned Gamertag and wishes to change it, he or she may purchase a new Gamertag through the standard Gamertag change process. However, the Gamertag that received the forced change will remain unobtainable."

    this isn't fair, because the name wasn't offensive & just because someone got mad over nothing... Now i have to pay 9.99
