I was wondering if MS could do something with achievements

With all the focus on backward compatibility I was hoping MS would do something about achievements.

One of the things I really miss playing old games is the digital reward I get from earning an achievement.

I realize I could just set up a silver profile or something and replay the game that way to once again experience achievements, but I was hoping MS would come up with a better solution.

Playing on a new profile would just keep me away from my Xbox Live friends, which kind of defeats the whole point of Xbox Live and profiles in the first place.

Also, I wouldn’t want to erase achievements that I already earned (just in case some of them were difficult to get or took a great deal of time)

Rather, I would like to be able to temporarily reset my achievements for certain game(s) while I replay them. I am not looking to get any additional gamer score or anything for achievements that I already earned, I would just like to see the acknowledgement
of certain tasks as I replay them.

Maybe it could be as simple as putting a number after every achievement is completed at least twice.

So the first time you earn an achievement there would be no number

The second time you earned it you would see the number 2 next to it

The third time you earned it you would see the number 3 next to it

The fourth time you earned it you would see the number 4 and so on.

I wonder if being Silver might have something to do with it. I never really cared about achievements, if they show up, fine if not I could care less.

Tying achievements to bing rewards would make people mod even more than they do now. My idea would be to use your rewards directly on the console instead of through the site. It wouldnt work for all the rewards but for stuff like MS points and XBL subscriptions
it could work.

i'm wondering something.... if ms could put something into the settings that would set your xbox one to, say, gaming mode, then one or two of the OS might get turned off. That would free up bandwidth and RAM space, would it not? MS still has time to work
out a way to do that so I wouldn't panic in this area either. give them time, they might surprise us. and HELL no, i'm not a MS fanboy

Could be a visual bug.

I wonder if you're an achievement hunter prob you have an account on True Achievements linked to your MS account, is that the case?, you could take the incredibly long task to match your game/cheevo lists to see if you're missing achievements for some games.

Sometimes it could happen that all the cheevos you get from one game stop showing up but that is problem in the server side with that particular game

Same. Exact same issue. Exact same game. I’m wondering if it has something to do with a 360 game being played on the Xbox one, although, the other MS Reward “August monthly bonus round” did recognize my Fable achievement, so who knows what’s going on. Downloading Gears Tactics now to get it.
