I was wondering if i could request for an inactive account to be deleted?

There's no way to know whether a gamertag is inactive or not as it could be being used on other Microsoft services.There is no way to request a gamertag to be made available.

If the gamertag does not sign in to any Microsoft service for 2 years or the account linked to that gamertag doesn't sign in for 5 years then it may be freed up so all you can do is keep checking.

If the owner changes their gamertag then that'll make it available as well but that's unlikely to happen with a four letter gamertag.

An inactive Xbox account will be deleted after being inactive for 5 years. If you have made a purchase on that account, It will not be deleted. My best advice would be to have a slight alteration of the desired username to be unique. As an example, if the

I dont think you would be able to claim it back. Microsoft deleted inactive account that were inactive for 2 years or something so I'd doubt you could recover it. Sorry about that.

Its impossible to have an email account deleted. The only way for it to be deleted if it were manually deleted. It could be that your account was closed for security purposes for long term inactivity so I would start by calling customer support or you could
just make a new account Xbox LIVE account with a new email address.

Hey there it could be that a "while" was a bit more than the normal... and they considered your account as inactive...

So they delete it maybe.
