Hello Lonewolf, from what I could gather, the "Assassin's Creed Ezio Trilogy" does not include any DLC for any of the games included.

You should play them all from the beginning, the story is amazing. Playing the Ezio trilogy is something you need to do.

There is always a reason to visit the past with the Assassin used, for Altiar it was because the Templars were looking for the Piece of Eden. In the Ezio trilogy it was all about Ezio being the "prophet" to allow Desmond to be passed the message from those
who came before, also the "temple" and the vaults were all set in the locations Altiar and Ezio lived in.

It has moved to the US because we know from Revelations that Desmond needs to return to where he grew up, so its clear that at some point, the Assassin Vs Templar War, and the artifacts sort after, came to the new world

So it does all depend on how ACIII ends, and where it leaves both Desmond and the Assassins

Lots of people usually start with number 2, than 1... than over back to the rest of the ezio trilogy. It's because these games were the best of the best.
