I never sent anything in for repair, and I've only owned this controller for less than a month. I think you missed the part where I bought a regular Xbox controller, not an elite. I don't have joysticks, and I never sent in my original controller because they told me to keep it. I was told I would be sent the same model and color by support.

you are not guaranteed to be returned any kind of special edition controller system you sent in for repair. They just sent you a refurbished one

You were told to remove all of the accessories before you sent it in which is why you got back or controller without joystick. they only return the base device

Then click on "Contact us" > Hardware and network> Then choose Warranty, service and repair> Select Other device > Type Broken controller> Click Next> Click on See contact options> Select from there, it should show you the option to chat with them.

I sent in my day one edition controller to be fixed the outside shell wasnt *** in properly. The "repaired" one I got back was also faulty. The joysticks click when moved. Isn't that something that should be checked before shipping?? Do I have to wait another

I think this would just be a random occurrence. Annoying, but it happens. It may be something to do with how these controllers are repaired and returned, as I was sent a completely broken one at first, and got sent a replacement that is slightly faulty.
I haven't seen this with other products, however.
