Hi. I have been playing Xbox for just over a year now and about 10 months ago I changed my gamertag. Earlier on today I received an email saying that my gamertag had been force changed because somebody found it offensive. I think this is unfair because it
wasn't a blocked name when I made it and it has only been changed now 10 months after I changed it. I was in contact with Ronald m from support and he said he didn't find it offending. I would like to be able to change my gamertag as I don't like the one I
have been given and would like to be given one that is more associative to me. Thankyou. I would not like to get my old gamertag back because I don't want this to happen again so I would like to change it

Accidentally lost my code for Halo : Spartan ****

Hey guys,

I was sent a message on Xbox Live which contained my code for Halo: Spartan **** as compensation for the whole Master Chief Collection fiasco. Unfortunately.. I did not redeem the code in time and the message from xbox live has been deleted.

I was instructed by someone at Xbox Live support to post this here and the message would be re-sent. I would really like to redeem the code so that I can download and play halo : SA on my surface pro 4 while I am away from home.

My gamertag is JRodko91 and the message was sent sometime last year.

Xbox gamertag transfer help

To be a bit more specific how do i make my current gamertag an xbox live gamertag?

Note: I have an account on the xbox one but want to carry over my gamertag from the 360 to the one.

You can try submitting a case review at
http://enforcement.xbox.com but if the enforcement team upholds their decision, you would need to pay if you want to change this gamertag to something else.

Will anybody take action from seeing this post because the person I contacted at support told me that this is where I should post and not a case claim. I tried making a case claim too but it didn't work

No. The enforcement team are the only ones who handle forced gamertag changes/suspensions and they do not use the forums.

You may be able to submit a case review at the enforcement team website. They are the ones that handle these types of situations. http://enforcement.xbox.com/home

Sorry, it seems that my message was sent without me noticing it! Here's what I've meant to write:

Given that you've changed your gamertag, but it hasn't updated on your Xbox Live profile, then it would be recommended to contact the Xbox Support directly and check with them if your gamertag change request was processed correctly.
