Hi I was playing cod and got booted off by two people And still can't play online

How are these scumbags allowed to do this crap? I blame M$ for not fixing this, in this day this should not be happening.

By the way, reporting the offender has never or never will be of any use, I doubt if anyone even looks at those lists, it's a joke

'they're done using software observing peer-to-peer connections. The more games utilize dedicated servers (as MS is doing with the Xbox One), the less this will happen'.

Not really... people who DDoS can identify everyone in the game's IPs but they don't know who to hit until they narrow it down and that's done with a Chat/Party/Game invite. That wouldn't be changed by playing on a game's dedicated servers. I also doubt
there's no way for them to pull the same IP information out of a dedicated lobby.

I don't think this problem will be dealt with unless detection software and punishment are stepped up on Microsoft's end. I know they ban people for DDoS attacks but it seems to only happen if someone does it beyond excessively.

 

unplug your modem and router wait a few minutes then plug them back in, if that is not working then call up your ISP.
