I was not given a new minecraft, what should I do?

I have a CD with the game Minecraft xbox one edition. I've been waiting for a year now when I get a new version of minecraft. I played it for more than 5 hours. What should I do?????

Hi there,

The new release of minecraft is different than the previous one, I believe this is the 4k edition of the game. For additional help on this topic I would suggest speaking to MS customer support

I think for previous ownership you had to own the digital license to get the new minecraft for xbox one. There are two versions, although the old version still seems to get all the updates so I am somewhat confused myself what is truly different between
the two other than having a stack of all the achievements....

Yes i have played oblivion still have well not really one of my family members is borrowing it and has been for 2 years now. everytime i ask for it back they are like no im still playing it and its not even being played. I have actually been playing the
game and finding it more enjoying recently. Im guessing ill stick with this character i have right now.
