I was instigated into a ban

Dear Xbox,

Tonight, I have been instigated into being banned by two users who seek nothing more than to ban good users like myself. My account, which is under the gamertag , has been banned for using two words that are not swear words. Both players messaged
me first, and used language that was directed at getting a response out of me. I responded accordingly. If I have crossed a line here, I apologize. But I do stand firm in the fact that what I said was not worthy of being suspended. Additionally, this is the
first time that I have been involved in some kind of online scrap with trolls. I do not think it is fair that I am treated in this way for my first offense. Please take into account the details of this wrongful suspension. I hope that you are able to serve
justice where it is due. Thank you for your help.

You would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com to see if your suspension is eligible for a case review. The enforcement team does not use the forums.

For situations like that, it's best to just report the other player and block them. It doesn't matter how a situation starts, if you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be punished.

It doesn't matter if you were the instigator or not

His or her actions has no bearing on the report

Didn't you learn this in life it doesn't matter who starts a fight you and you alone are responsible for your actions

All this has seriously made me think about getting rid and jumping onto the ps4

They instigate bans on PSN too. They're actually stricter, or rather the Scee affiliate was at the time... Infact their bans are daft, you can still access services but can't make purchases, kinda shot themselves in the foot there

OP, every form of online communications has Instigators (spelling) some of which can never be banned. They can even do god mode random matches and even if you quit out.. You still get banned, but they don't.

So whether on xbox, playstation, steam or whatever, as best you can. Watch yourself!
