I was hit with a year long suspension from someone flooding my account with a bot follow...

Yes i understand i have been banned for botted followers but what im saying I DID NOT bot the followers. People use a tool to bot follow someone’s account and the account owner pays the price for SOMEONE ELSE bot following THEIR account do you not understand how this is wrong? It is entirely out of my control i cant stop someone from spamming bots to follow my account and the enforcement team knows this. Like i could find someone to bot follow someone’s account and result in their account getting banned how is that even legal or fair? I understand there is nothing you can do to help except send the same enforcement link which doesnt do anything as my appeal was already denied but i am posting this to spread awareness to other players that may have the same issue. Microsoft need to fix this immediately it is wrong to permanently ban someone for someone else bot following their account making me lose all my games and content i have paid for and all my progress over 16+ years with 111k gamerscore.

So, my problem is that someone dumped 56,000 of followers (bots) to my account, I didn’t bother with it so much since I’ve heard so many people say that nothing will happen. Few months went by, woke up in the morning to a permanent suspension after that I went to appeal it and as expected it came back denied. The Xbox safety team sent me an email saying “manipulating followers with a third party software leads to a suspension” yet it wasn’t my problem, the issue was someone else added follower bots to my account without me knowing and I don’t know who did it. Does the Xbox enforcement team know about this? Because I did my best to prove the fact that a random person added bots to my account in the appeal but yet the enforcement team did nothing.

To my knowledge, the enforcement team takes a lot into consideration before issuing a ban of that nature. If sincerely you've not done anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about.
