    I was ddosed and don’t know how to fix it


    I was playing For Honor and the user [mod removed] got upset i won a game and invited me and my cousin to a party where he said i was trash and I was actually being super respectful back for once and then he told me he was gonna boot me offline and read
    mine and my cousins addresses out loud and then my wifi shut down and i can’t get it working again

    If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

    Usually turning your router/modem/gateway hub off For 5 minutes, will get you a new IP address assigned.

    Smwutches is correct, it is not carried out over Xbox Luve servers and you should report to your ISP. It is a criminal offence in many countries to tamper with communication networks.

    Edit: If any messages or communication was received, report the gamertag on the console, giving details and close times for voice comms.

    If your ISP won't help you then there are programs out there that you can use to protect yourself as well.

    Since DDoS is done through your internet, you would need to contact your ISP so they can help you get back online and stay online.
