Wtf? When i first connected my Xbox One to my wireless WiFi a month ago when I first bought it, I had o problems. It scanned for wireless networks in my area, clicked on mine, typed in my security key, then boom, I was connected online no problem. For some
reason today, my Xbox decides to be dumb and no longer connect. I go into settings, then connect to internet, and it doesn't even scan for any WiFi networks. I type in my router name manually, and get some Security Protocol bs saying that the Xbox wont work
with my security settings, BUT THEY NEVER CHANGED SO...? Why is it doing this? So frustrating. Just want to play my new games...

    :)

  2. Xbox one wireless connection

Hi, I am having issues connecting my Xbox one to my wifi network without ethernet, everything in my house connects fine anywhere apart from my Xbox, and its not just my wifi. I took it to a friends house and it wouldn't connect wirelessly but with an ethernet
its fine? it finds the network but will never connect. Since then I have completely changed broadband providers and it sill doesn't connect on the new one wirelessly, I've tried at a number of friends houses with all different providers and routers and no
change, ethernet its fine but wirelessly no. This has led to me being unable to play in my bedroom as I cant run the ethernet cable up there and if I go anywere with it I have to bring cables and extension leads.

    Please help!

  3. 360 S (250GB) wireless problem

Since yesterday my 360 Slim is no longer able to connect wirelessly to Xbox Live. When I try to connect it is now asking me to connect a wireless adapter! I have had no problems connecting wirelessly for the past 10 months apart from the occasional disconnect.
    Anyone else experienced this problem?

    Hey there G 7ven!

Sorry to hear about the WiFi troubles.

Could you please try doing a hard shutdown on your Xbox One? You can do this by (when the console is turned on) holding down the glowing Xbox Logo on the front of your console (power button) for 10 seconds. This will shutdown the console.

After doing this, please try again =)

  6. usually this happens when a router loses power. I find that I have the same problem with my xbox and printer when the router gets turned off accidentally. I always have to manually reconnect to the wifi every time this happens

    My wifi doesn't work

I had this issue with my WIFI a few months back, Im with Virgin and sometimes for some reason the WIFI seems fine but it wont be visible or able to connect to my XBox via a wireless connection. I got around this by wiring my xbox to the router and letting
it connect that way for an hour or so and then when I unplugged it, it seemed to be able to connect wirelessly again.

Destiny Crucible breaks xbox ones wifi adaptor.

Ok. I see. So you were still connected wirelessly.

If you have any way to connect using an ethernet cable like powerline adaptors or an actual wifi bridge you might want to try that as I have my xbox wired to a linksys WUMC710 wifi bridge and I no longer get disconnections. My xbox is now technically wired
and thats what it says in the settings app.
