I was banned while already banned.

So my little brother (10 years old) and I share a XBL account. Awhile back, he got me communication banned for trolling. I scolded him yet still let him use my account. Last week he managed to get me another ban. This time for a week. I then stopped letting
him use my account. The day before my ban was supposed to be lifted, I get a message from Xbox Live saying that I have received an additional two weeks. I thought it must have been a mistake to I filed a case review within the hour. About 2-3 hours later I
get a message saying that my case review has been updated. I was excited until I saw that the decision was upheld. The comments stated that I received an additional ban for a different message that was sent before the first ban was even imposed. How is that
fair? I tried contacting Xbox support 3 times. The first one was before my case review was completed.

The second time, I was told that the support agent would contact the Enforcement Team on my behalf because they have no e-mail or phone number for users to contact. She said to wait until the morning and my case should be re-opened so I could submit another
case appeal with a service number that contained all of the information about my ban. However, a full 24 hours later, there was no change. So I contacted support yet again. This time, the agent kept telling me to file a case review. I told her I already did
and what the other agent said and provided her the service number I was given so she could review the conversation. Again she told me to submit a case review. I figured it would be useless to try to argue more so I reached online for a way to contact the Enforcement
Team. People have said the forums are the only way. So here I am.

Got banned while I was already banned,with no notice

I knew i had a 30 day ban that started 10/20 , now i still cant communicate. So could you please contact me and let me know what is going on??? Nothing is showing on my account, no bans are highlighted!! Tried everything else please HELP!!

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

If you already submitting a case review and the enforcement team upheld their decision, there is nothing else you can do. As they already stated, the 2nd suspension could have been for something that took place days or weeks before the 1st suspension was
issued. Investigations do take time.

Also, you are responsible for your account at all times and it actually is a violation of the code of conduct to share accounts. If your little brother wants to play, it would be better to create his own account.

 

A ban is supposed to be a punishment to change a bad behavior, is it not? Then why would they give an additional ban before the 1st ban is even finished? Doesn't really make much sense. Additionally, I already made an account for my little brother and decided
to wait peacefully for my ban to finish. The Enforcement team chose to make this harder than it had to be.

 

Because each suspension is a punishment for a separate actions. Say you did something on a Monday that someone reported you for. It takes a couple of days for the enforcement team to investigate so on Wednesday you do something else that someone else reports
you for just before the enforcement team issues a suspension for Monday. So now they get a new report for something else and suspend you for what happened on Wednesday. You just still happen to be banned for the 1st thing you did.

 

So you're telling me they see that my account is currently serving a suspension in which I am unable to communicate further, so they decide to add a new suspension thats twice as long. Seems a bit unfair to me. Especially considering it wasn't even me who
violated the rules.

 

Well it would be either that, or let you come off the 1st suspension and then issue another one so there really wouldn't have been a point in that either.

 

Or, you know, see what happens after the 1st suspension and then only apply another one if the behavior continued. But I guess that makes too much sense. Might as well stack suspensions. I think I used profane language about a year ago in a voice party.
Better hope my month suspension comes the day before this two week suspension is lifted.
