i was banned from the xbox network for something i didn’t even do!!!

so a couple of days ago i allowed my little brother to play on my xbox for the day, and he runs downstairs in tears whilst i’m making food for my python and he starts crying and screaming that a screen came up on my xbox saying permanently banned, how would i go about resolving this issue, and i’ve already checked my violation history and it’s not showing up there so i have no way to appeal, i’m not even capable of signing into account and i’m wondering if this so called “perma ban” is actually all that permanent.

yes i understand but even do this is my first suspension of the year why is it that i get a perms ban

As mentioned,it probably isn't a perma ban but for future reference the length of a ban isn't just based on how many enforcement actions you've had before,it's also based on the severity of the offence so it is possible to get perm banned for a first offence.

Just follow the rules & you won't get banned at all then there won't be an issue.

Hello, I´m Jamie. an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

Unfortunately there does seem to be an issue at the moment, where a load of players are receiving permanently bans instead of temporary bans on their accounts and it not showing up on the Enforcement site.

Microsoft are aware of this and are in fact trying to sort this out.

What I can suggest for the time being, is to wait a few days and hopefully you will be back to normal.

If you have got a ban/suspension then you are responsible for your account & everything that happens on it so it wouldn't matter if your brother did it or not,you would still get punished.
