I was banned for defending a friend then called harsh names and false reported for it.

Topics or content of sexual nature the arguement started due to someone calling my friends names (slvt,fat,) basically fat shaming her and i had to step in. i wasnt being anywhere near sexual twards anyone. They kept calling me a **** due to my age and i kept denying until they started reporting me for being "a **** and racist" when im not racist to anyone. i do not do that. And if i made any remarks on a racist word i apologize severely. The whole thing started with me defending my best friend ive known for years. I understand its not okay to argue and i wont do it again. i just wanted her to be okay because she already deals with to much and i dont want people to just fatshame her for no reason. so im sorry for the way i acted. not only that they were so called "crouching on her" while she was afk. Shes 14. and they knew that. he called her a slvt when we told him to be quiet after he was just telling her to shut up we were defending ourselves and ik it was to much to say and i understand. but i truley only meant to defend the people i care about. this is for ingame btw

In situations like that, you should always report and block instead of responding.

Hiya!!

Making false reports to the XBOX Enforcement team is unacceptable and should not be used for such actions! Just like making a false 911 call, repeated false reports could find you to be banned.

Like Smwutches said it could be as simple as calling someone a bad name or saying something in a Party Text chat. You also have to be very careful with online communications because there is people out there who do file false reports and these reports can
not always be verified as true however if this happens again the ban may increase if he does get another communication ban for whatever reason then you should be able to appeal it but personally I would let this one go as nobody can provide you with relevant
information.

If this is a ban because of people filing false reports I do apoligise.

I think that the 1-week ban is a little harsh & as a result may actually discourage reporting.

I'm talking about the person who falsely stated that they could get their friend to ban them. You CAN report him for impersonation, I'm not talking about the friend that person referenced.
