I was assaulted on minecraft and want to delete my whole gamer profile

I was harassed on minecraft yesterday and today, and want to PERMANENTLY delete my gamer Xbox account. But I do not want to delete my whole Microsoft account only the Xbox gamer profile. Every time I look this subject up it only comes up with "Delete your
Microsoft account" but I don't want to delete my whole Microsoft account only my minecraft one please help!

How do I delete my profile - ditch my gamertag and the whole shebang so I can create a new profile and attach to my account. Want to rid my xbox of an old gamertag?

 

Minecraft not working.

Minecraft will only work as the full game for the profile that downloaded it to the console. For any other profile on the console it will only show the demo and on the title screen it says instead of "Minecraft Store" it says "Unlock full game". I had
this problem the other day and did the whole delete game and history cache and it solved the problem. Since then it has returned and I've tried the above steps and it has failed. Please help as we have 2 anxious boys here who want their mine craft back.

 

You can try contacting support to see if there is anything they can do, but generally there is no way to completely remove an Xbox account from the servers. Contact Us | Xbox Support

 

I’m sorry that you experienced something so negative. I do hope that you reported the person who so negatively affected your gaming experience.

 

You could go to the settings to disable anyone from messaging you. But you also want to block that person as retaliating would solve nothing. Just report and block them. That is what I would do. Eventually, they would get a system message of what happens.

OP I would encourage you to reach out to Customer Support in regards to this. Deleting your Xbox account over one person who gave you a bad experience isn't the way to go about it, especially when it's the people doing the harassing who should be leaving
the Xbox community. Please reach out to Customer Support in regards to this.
