I wanted to recover my xbox 360 error

Thank you for reaching out. We understand you are having a hard time downloading your Xbox account on your Xbox One due to a spelling error on your email. Normally, the Xbox One allows you to login as long as you have your email and password. If you haven't
already, please check our
Microsoft Change Alias site. You will be asked to sign in as normal (so using the misspelled email). Once there, you can add the correct email, verify it, and set it as the main one for your account.

Basically the 360s did not require you to verify your email address like the one does when setting the account up.

But you can sign into the account (with the wrong email address) at account.microsoft.com and a box will pop up asking you to verify your email address there would be a link in that box that says to change the email that is associated with your account when
you click on that it will give you an option to change the email associated with your account once you do that then you should have no problems signing into your One.

The thing with this is MS don't know exactly what the problem is and hopefully it is resolved soon but it is kind of strange with the error thats is being thrown up when recovering Gamertags to xbox 360.

All i want to do is play fifa world cup but cannot do that without recovering my tag as dont want to create a new tag just for this game as want to get the achievements on my main tag for this game.

Sorry I meant my Xbox 360 profile through account recovery.

I just tried to recover my X360 account on the 360 and it just failed with the same error message 8483000E.

On the Xbox One trying to recover my X360 profile..... IT WORKED!!!! I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!
