I want to update the age on my other account

I have another account and it used to be my sons and i cant access certain elements of xbox live he now has a new account and i want this account but i want to update the age to my age can anyone help?

I want to ask if there is any way to change your gamer picture without being at the age requirement, or if there is ever a future update where this is set to your account restrictions instead, when will this update come out? There's so many people out there,
with numerous posts on the forums ,asking for this to be associated with account restrictions, not age.

 

Repeated age verification requests.

I am an adult. Xbox live knows I am an adult and it allows me to administer my child's accounts. However after I verified my age and let Microsoft take 50cents out of my bank account, I am now trying to enable rewards on my child's accounts, yet despite
been an adult, live already having my date of birth, having 2 child accounts already and already charging me to prove my age previously, does anyone know why it will not let me add either of my child's accounts to Xbox live rewards without first validating
my age again?

I not willing to pay 50 cents everytime I try to do something on these accounts, and live support were no use and told me to come here.

If there us anyone on here that can actually help other than the company itself, I would appreciate it and thanks in advance. I don't want to know speculation on why it is doing it, I want to know how to stop it happening.

 

Once an account has been created, there is no way to change the age.

 

You can't change the age, but you can do this that will give you access to everything that an adult has.

Age is determined by the date of birth on the Xbox LIVE account. Once a person turns 18, he or she can follow the steps here to promote their account.

On your Xbox 360 console, sign in to Xbox LIVE using the account that you want to change.

Go to Settings and select Account.

In the Your Information panel, select Promote Child Account.

Note “Promote Child Account” will only be available if the date of birth for the account indicates that you have reached adult age for your country or region.

If you’re prompted to sign out of a current game session, select Yes.

On the “Promote your current Xbox LIVE child account to an adult account” screen, select Continue.
